Vintage Flower

My name is Yvonne and I am the gal behind Vintage Flower. Here is my story.
I am actually vintage myself…giggle…hence the name….and the white hair.  So here goes…I will modify it it for you…it is pretty simple, plain, happy and humble.
Back in the day I just wanted a family and a beautiful surrounding and I wanted to be home doing the job myself…so I did…and I took in laundry and ironing to help take care of my kids (wow yes..I did that)…and I loved it.  It turned into making curtains and pillows for friends and then clothes and then the craft shows began and wahLa…a whole life began!
And here I am today…30 some odd years later still looking forward to the next show and creating new things along the way.
I create cloth dolls from scratch fabrics with painted faces…each one a story of its own…using treasures found at junk stores.
My booth is a little patch of my painted wildflowers on windows and doors and painted distressed furniture, my dolls and a whole plethora of little treasures i can’t pass up.
And that’s a tiny little piece of my story…trust me there is so much more!
